FIU Online expects that all members of its academic community adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards. To ensure that we maintain academic integrity, we have developed policies and procedures designed to support academic excellence and intellectual growth. Academic dishonesty undermines the educational experience for everyone, and we ask that all FIU Online students familiarize themselves with rules and policies concerning academic misconduct.
Learn it to Earn it
Learn It to Earn It is FIU Online’s campaign to promote a culture of academic integrity at FIU, based on the institution’s core values of Truth, Freedom, Respect, Responsibility, and Excellence. Learn It to Earn It is premised upon the idea that students should earn their grades and their degrees through learning their course material and engaging in actions that exemplify academic integrity. Through a pledge campaign, promotional materials, and engaging informational videos, FIU Online, in partnership with other university stakeholders, is doing its part to promote academic integrity among FIU students.
